This role will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the Build for a Cure campaign, including operational, marketing and communications campaigns. The Project & Campaign Manager will work closely with the Build for a Cure internal steering committee, to agree priorities which will generate maximum awareness to ensure the house sells for the best possible price, the media and brand awareness opportunities are optimised and to drive community engagement with Children’s Cancer Institute’s cause.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Project Management of Build for a Cure, working closely with both the internal steering committee and external partners to deliver a successful campaign

· Development of a fully integrated multi-channel marketing campaign plan

· Management of external stakeholder meetings for Build for a Cure, including report back and tracking of operational and marketing priorities

· Ensuring the internal team adhere to the Build for a Cure project plan through regular liaison and monitoring

· Management and implementation (with support of the Marketing team and external PR agency) of the external marketing plan for the Build for a Cure campaign across all channels including media (TV, radio, print, outdoor and digital).

· Liaison with all key partners and stakeholders including the internal steering committee, external PR agency, Children’s Cancer Institute scientists and spokespeople, key commercial partners, media, ambassadors/celebrities and families of children with cancer.

· Delivery of digital activity to support the campaign

· Contribution to the development of advertising material for TV, radio, print and outdoor billboards.

· Management of ambassador relationships in conjunction with Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer and partners as relevant

· Management of specific expenses related to delivering the campaign, reporting back expenditure vs. budget to the internal steering committee.

· Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

· Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications including project management would be helpful but not essential.

· Minimum 3 years in marketing or a communications role including experience in the management of media

· Demonstrated experience running a similar campaign/project

· Demonstrated experience of copywriting and pitching to generate PR

· Demonstrated experience of digital communications including website copy management and content generation
